My Epiphany

Th3 Record is a safe place for me to hone my skill as a freelance writer and talk about all things of interest to yours truly. As I evolve and grow, this space will too. Shaping and molding…

Documenting my midlife epiphany while dealing with life’s ups and downs.

Those who personally know me, know I’m an opinionated homebody who always has her nose in some sort of research. I prefer to watch the world from the sidelines. Carefully picking a path through the rise of civil unrest and division; which has become the new norm in our slowly dying world. Determined to carve my own path among the chaos.

While working on my book, I have discovered many things about myself, and have spent the last 6 years traveling a road which, unbeknownst to me, helped me to realize a dream. Awakening a need to make that dream, a reality.

My primary intent for this space is to use it as a learning tool. The types of content I post will pertain, in some way, to my life as a wife and mother, an entrepreneur (be it successes or failures), and the fluff in between.

When I am not writing or working, I spend most of my free time researching people, and their cultures. (My first passion.) Currently my research is centered around monoliths and burial mounds created by ancient civilizations.  My goal is to learn as much as I can from archaeological papers, published on various projects in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the Scandinavian regions.

Researching the history of herbal medicine in ritualistic practices of early paganism is also some what of an obsession.  Learning about intent, and the energy behind spell working; as well as spiritual uses of flora, as a practicing application.

I think of myself as eclectic, and enjoy sharing my findings with like minded individuals in a safe and welcoming atmosphere. (While nourishing my overactive mind and writing in the mean time.)
