Forging a new path is a winding road, and can lead to thousands of different places, and grand adventures.

I have been trying to figure out my place in the writing community for the last several months. This new expedition has taken me to unexpected places, and I am happy to say it has continued to evolve as I continue my journey.

I started Th3 Record as a way to introduce myself to the writing community, but I have been struggling to find my voice among all the incredible talent.

I’m a strange mix of educated, and eccentric. Frequently finding myself to blunt for polite society, and discovering to little desire to conform. I would describe myself as, a compassionate introvert trying to break free of her shell. Whilst acknowledging her personal limitations.

I’m nobody special in the great scheme of things. Despite this fact, I have a lot to offer other writers who are also struggling to find their place in the writing world; like me.

I have always hated having the spotlight on myself. It makes me see all my weird imperfections. (Thank you anxiety.) I have frequently had to ask myself why I was trying to put myself out there, and is it worth all the anxiety and stress. The answer was simple. Yes, it is.

I want to motivate other writers, because it helps keep me motivated to achieve my own goals. You can’t achieve greatness, and help others do the same, while hidden away from the world; right?

Every hero needs a support system! I have never seen myself has a great hero, but I sure would make a hell of a sidekick!

You are welcome to follow along on my writing journeys. I would sincerely enjoy the company.

Who knows, you may even learn something knew with me along the way.

As always, shaping and molding.

Outlining w/ the 'Script Method' The Writers Corner

Hey Guys! This week I go over how I am outlining my NaNo WIP! I am basically writing like I would be writing a script, fingers crossed it works well for preparing for next month.   Throughout this episode I reference some notes I took during an online Skillshare course I took a few months ago, Learn to Write Movies: Screen Writing Step by Step. I highly recommend checking it out! It was about 4 hours long in total and very informative. I wish I could do it eloquent justice! The credit for this amazing course goes to writer/director John Watts.  If you have skillshare please check him out!  As always, If you haven't found me already, I am on Facebook and Twitter (@4Th3Record). You can also follow my website Th3 Record for all the latest news and updates!  Shameless plug! I do not get paid to do this, but a little money would certainly help with equipment upgrades, and with feeding my writing/self-education addiction. Feel free (but not obligated) to make a small donation. All proceeds would be greatly appreciated, and put to very good use providing you with new content! I'm also trying out a new feature, so if any of my listeners would like to record a message, asking a question, or just to tell me what a great job I'm doing (hint, hint) you can send me a recorded message using this link! If I can figure out how to use it right I may even put it in the show, lol! Thanks for the continued support guys! See you next week!
